Shipping Information - Terms & Conditions
Our generators typically ship out within 24 hours. If the order is placed on a holiday, or weekend, we will ship the next business day. We reserve the right to drop ship your generator or other parts from the factory. We advertise free shipping, but some areas may incur additional fees. You will be informed of a drop shipment, or additional fees PRIOR to us processing your order. You will be allowed the opportunity to cancel before we process your order.
Parts Shipping Policy
Free shipping on orders over $40.00. Parts shipping to contiguous 48 states only.
Generator and/or Large Package Curbside Delivery
During generator delivery the trucking company will not drive on your property for fear of causing damage. Delivery is curb side only. Your location must be semi-truck accessible.
Inside Delivery Explanation
If available in your area, straight truck and/or inside delivery may be requested. Conditions must be such that allow inside delivery. Additional fees will apply for these services. Inside delivery simply means brought up to your home. It does not mean: remove and dispose of packaging, put in your house or garage, deliver and set at its operating location, nor anything else that could be implied by inside delivery.
We understand that things change. If you must cancel your order is subject to a restocking fee.
Cancel Before It Ships
We understand that things change. You're welcome to cancel your order BEFORE IT SHIPS. We usually ship out the same day or next business day after payment is approved. If you are thinking about changing your mind, Please wait to order! Cancellations prior to shipping are subject to restocking fee up to 25%
Cancel After It Ships
You will be responsible for original shipping fee, the return shipping fee, credit card fees, and any other fees we incur. All these charges will be deducted from your refund. All refunds will be issued less the actual shipping charges (sometimes included in the items selling price). Allow up to 10 days for a Credit Card refund. In addition, some returns may be assessed up to a 50% restocking fee.
Shipping Damage Policy
Damages are rare but can happen. YOU MUST INSPECT THE SHIPMENT BEFORE SIGNING THE BILL OF LADING! Remove the boxes to inspect the physical generator and transfer switch. Simply lift up the box. Any damage MUST be noted on the Bill of Lading. If you sign for freight as received in good condition, and it has damage, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP. YOU WILL BE REPONSIBLE TO MAKE A SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIM. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FEES INCURED BY THIS PROCESS.
FAILURE TO REPORT DAMAGE ON A SIGNED BILL OF LADING WILL RESULT IN YOU HAVING TO FILE THE CLAIM AND "ATTEMPT" TO COLLECT FROM THE SHIPPING COMPANY AT THE EXPENSE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY. TRUCKING COMPANY MAY NOT PAY 100% FOR CONCEALED SHIPPING DAMAGE. ZILLER ELECTRIC WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU FOR ANY LOSSES YOU INCUR.
If you receive a damaged generator, please call us immediately. We include a bright sticker on all of our shipments with our phone number and instructions to call us if there is damage. THIS DAMAGE MUST BE NOTED ON THE BILL OF LADING. WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU! IF DAMAGE IS SEVERE SIMPLY REFUSE SHIPMENT. CONTACT US WITH DETAILS. WE WILL CONFIRM RETURN FROM TRUCKING COMPANY.
UPON CONFIRMATION WE WILL SHIP YOU A REPLACEMENT. IF YOU ACCEPT A DAMAGED UNIT, SAVE THE PACKAGING. IT MAY REQUIRE INSPECTION TO PROCESS A DAMAGE CLAIM.
Returned items are subject to a restocking fee. Items must be returned within 30 days and in brand new condition, including packaging. Ziller Electric, at its discretion, may refuse a return based on the condition of the item and/or its packaging. The customer will be responsible for all shipping fees and credit card fees incurred by Ziller Electric. Manufacturer restocking fees will be deducted from your refund. Ziller Electric will not provide refund to you until manufacture provides refund to us.
We do our best to keep all prices current. With the number of products we carry it is not always possible. We cannot confirm the price of an item until after your order is placed. Pricing errors may occur on www.zillerelectric.com. Our manufacturer at their discretion may change pricing on any product without notice to us. We reserve the right to cancel any orders containing pricing errors, with no further obligations to you. Even after your receipt of an order confirmation or shipping notice from Ziller Electric. We will notify you and proceed with your instructions. You will be offered the price change or to cancel your order. You receive notification if you choose cancellation. Pricing for products may be different at www.zillerelectric.com from prices available in store.
International Purchases and Damage
We only ship to contiguous United States. We are happy to ship to your freight forwarder. If you choose to ship yourself or freight forward Generac products purchased from Ziller Electric outside of contiguous United States, you do so at your own risk. There is no warranty for parts, labor, travel, on Generac products outside of the contiguous United States. There is no damage coverage for Generac products outside of the contiguous US. We only accept US forms of payment. There will be extra scrutiny and submittals required for purchases going to a Freight Forwarder.
Generac Power systems provides equipment and parts warranty ONLY if work is being provided by a Generac authorized, factory trained, repair facility. You may not have a Generac authorized, factory trained, repair facility in your area. If so, YOU HAVE NO WARRANTY. This includes, parts, labor, travel or any other reference to warranty whatsoever. Ziller Electric will never make representation there is a warranty on anything you purchase, when you choose to use it internationally.
Generac Parts are warrantied only when installed by a Generac authorized, factory trained, repair facility. If you or your representative install any Generac part, you do so at your own risk, and parts cannot and will not be returned, repaired, replaced, refunded for any reason. This includes if the part fails to correct your problem. Or you claiming it as a defective part if it does not solve your problem.
Electrical Parts Purchases
Electrical parts cannot and will not be returned for any reason. Sales of electrical parts are final.

Your use of this site or placement of an order indicates acceptance to all outlined customer service policies, terms and conditions of Ziller Electric Inc. Under no circumstance will Ziller Electric Inc. or employees be liable for damages of any kind arising from the use of this site including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages.
We reserve the right to make changes to our site, pricing and product information, customer service policies and terms and conditions at any time. In addition, Ziller Electric Inc. will not be bound to any prices posted in error or responsible for discontinued or unavailable items or typographical errors.
