Covid-19 Shipping Update

Due to today’s business climate and Covid-19, shipping is changing on an almost daily basis without notice. We are subject to these changes just as you are. These are beyond our control and cannot be avoided. Generator, equipment, and parts shipping can take longer due to changing shipping schedules and routes, Covid-19 safety protocols, or any other myriad of reasons. It is rare, however a parts delivery driver at his discretion, for any reason may choose to leave your package at a local shipping hub. You would then at your expense be required to travel and pick it up. There is no guarantee or refunds on expedited shipping. You will not be reimbursed for shipping delays. We will not be responsible for any additional costs or losses that you incur due to shipping delays. Orders cannot be cancelled once being processed and shipped. By accepting our Terms & Conditions – Shipping/Return Policy when you check out you are acknowledging this, and all other conditions listed on our website.

Parts and Accessories Installation and Warranty

Ziller Electric recommends that all products on our website be installed by the product Manufacturer’s licensed trained technician. Damage to equipment, property, and/or persons can result by untrained individuals installing, replacing, or using our products. Please contact your local representative to perform any work, installation, or replacement associated with our products. There is no warranty for parts and accessories installed by anyone other than the Manufacturer’s Representative.

Generac Parts Warranty

Generac Parts are warrantied only when installed by a Generac authorized, factory trained, repair facility. If you or your representative install any Generac part, you do so at your own risk, and parts cannot and will not be returned, repaired, replaced, refunded for any reason. Including if the part fails to correct your problem causing you to claim it is a defective part. 

Generac Parts Replacement Warranty

Generac Warranty policy states that parts will only be covered when the installing Authorized Dealer submits the warranty claim. Ziller Electric cannot send out warranty parts for any reason.

Generac Sizing

We do our best to help with generator sizing. This is done with limited information we gather during phone conversations and emails with you. This does not take the place of an on-site load calculation if required by your local authority having jurisdiction. Ziller Electric does not provide this service. Ziller Electric will assume no liability if an incorrect size generator is used.

Orders and Processing Policy

At Ziller Electric we do our very best to complete every order to the best of our ability. Without exception we work tirelessly to process and ship orders in a timely manner. There are things beyond our control in the process of getting equipment to your door. Equipment and parts can be shipped from our warehouse or drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. We see the shipping process through to completion on every single order. Ziller Electric will not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages for any reason. Including any fees or expenses incurred by customer, due to shipping issues, delays, and product damage.

Electrical Parts Purchases

Electrical parts cannot and will not be returned for any reason. Sales of electrical parts are final. Please provide us your generator serial number and we will confirm compatibility.

Generator Shipping Policy

Our generators typically ship out same or next business day. However, this is never a guarantee. If the order is placed on a holiday, or weekend, we attempt to ship the next business day. We reserve the right to drop ship your generator or other parts from the factory. We advertise free shipping, but some areas may incur additional fees. You will be informed of drop shipment additional fees, or any other additional fees PRIOR to us processing your order. You will be allowed the opportunity to cancel for any reason before we process your order.

Parts Shipping Policy

Free shipping on orders over $50.00. Parts shipping to contiguous 48 states only. Parts orders over $100.00 will require your signature at time of delivery.

Shipping Address Changes

Once your shipment has left our dock or the factory dock there will be an additional $200.00 Fee to change the Shipping Address.

Generator and/or Large Package Curbside Delivery

During delivery the trucking company will not drive on your property for fear of causing damage. Delivery is curb side only. You are responsible to relocate equipment from this curbside delivery location. Your location must be semi-truck accessible. Which means semi-truck must be able to drive up to base of driveway. No dirt, gravel, narrow, hills, low hanging branches, any other obstacles that may prevent access to your property.

Inside Delivery Explanation

If available in your area, straight truck and/or inside delivery may be requested. Conditions must be such that allow inside delivery. Additional fees will apply for these services. Inside delivery simply means brought up to your home. A pallet jack must have smooth level terrain that can be accessed by driver on foot pushing pallet jack. It does not mean remove and dispose of packaging, put in your house or garage, deliver and set at its operating location, nor anything else that could be implied by inside delivery. If you are concerned your property does not meet these criteria, please call before ordering.

Straight Truck Explanation

If your property will not allow delivery from a semi-truck. YOU must request a Straight Truck before you place your order. This is a smaller truck that may make it possible to deliver to your location. We will confirm straight truck availability prior to processing your order. A straight truck will never go on your property for fear of damage to your property. Delivery will be curb side only. A Straight Truck may incur additional fees. You will be made aware of these additional fees prior to us processing your order. You may accept these additional fees or cancel your order.

Cancel Before It Ships

We understand that things change. You're welcome to cancel your order BEFORE IT SHIPS. You cannot cancel your order after it ships. We usually ship out the same day or next business day after payment is approved. If you are thinking about changing your mind, please wait to order! Cancellations prior to shipping are subject to cancellation/restocking fee up to 25%

Shipping Damage Policy

Damages are rare but can happen. YOU MUST INSPECT THE SHIPMENT BEFORE SIGNING THE BILL OF LADING! Open the boxes to inspect the physical generator and transfer switch. Any damage MUST be noted on the Bill of Lading. If you sign for freight as received in good condition, and it has damage, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT FEES INCURRED.

 If you receive a damaged generator, please call us immediately. We include a bright sticker on all our shipments with our phone number and instructions to call us if there is damage. THIS DAMAGE MUST BE NOTED ON THE BILL OF LADING WITH REFERENCE NUMBER AND DRIVER’S SIGNATURE AT TIME OF DELIVERY. PLEASE TAKE PHOTOS AND SAVE ALL PACKAGING. IF YOU ACCEPT A DAMAGED UNIT IT MAY REQUIRE INSPECTION TO PROCESS A DAMAGE CLAIM.

IF DAMAGE IS SEVERE SIMPLY REFUSE SHIPMENT. CONTACT US WITH DETAILS. WE WILL CONFIRM RETURN FROM TRUCKING COMPANY. UPON CONFIRMATION WE WILL SHIP YOU A REPLACEMENT.

Pricing Information

We do our best to keep all prices current. With the large number of products we carry it is not always possible to be current. We cannot confirm the price of an item until after your order is placed. Pricing errors may occur on www.zillerelectric.com. Our manufacturer at their discretion may change pricing on any product without notice to us. We reserve the right to cancel any orders containing pricing errors, with no further obligations to you. Even after your receipt of an order confirmation or shipping notice from Ziller Electric. We will notify you and proceed with your instructions. You will be offered the price change or to cancel your order. You receive notification if you choose cancellation. Pricing for products may be different at www.zillerelectric.com from prices available in store. 

Products Shown as In Stock

Products listed at zillerelectric.com are shown as In Stock. Our products are almost always in stock at either Ziller Electric or Generac Power Systems. However, a product listed as In Stock is not a guarantee. It is impossible for Generac to notify us when a product is out of stock. Therefore, it is impossible for us to list a product as Out of Stock. This is never an attempt to deceive. Simply an unfortunate circumstance beyond our control.

Lead Times

Upon receiving your order that will be drop shipped you will be notified if there is a lead time when we attempt to place your order at the factory. Your order will never be processed until we gain your approval once you are made aware of the lead time. You will be given the opportunity to cancel. Lead times are approximate and are never guaranteed. Once your order is placed at the factory a cancellation/restocking fee will apply.

International Purchases and Damage

We only ship to contiguous United States. We are happy to ship to your freight forwarder. If you choose to ship yourself or freight forward Generac products purchased from Ziller Electric outside of contiguous United States, you do so at your own risk. There is no warranty for parts, labor, travel, on Generac products outside of the contiguous United States. There is no damage coverage for Generac products outside of the contiguous US. We only accept US forms of payment. There will be extra scrutiny and submittals required for purchases going to a Freight Forwarder.

International Warranty

Generac Power systems provides equipment and parts warranty ONLY if work is being provided by a Generac authorized, factory trained, repair facility. You may not have a Generac authorized, factory trained, repair facility in your area. If so, YOU HAVE NO WARRANTY. This includes, parts, labor, travel or any other reference to warranty whatsoever. Ziller Electric will never make representation there is a warranty on anything you purchase, when you choose to use it internationally.

Ziller Electric Inc Terms and Conditions

Your use of this site or placement of an order indicates acceptance to all outlined customer service policies, terms and conditions of Ziller Electric Inc. Under no circumstance will Ziller Electric Inc. or employees be liable for damages of any kind arising from the use of this site including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages.

We reserve the right to make changes to our site, pricing and product information, customer service policies and terms and conditions at any time. In addition, Ziller Electric Inc. will not be bound to any prices posted in error or responsible for discontinued or unavailable items or typographical errors. We also reserve the right to refuse service or fulfillment of an order, should circumstances warrant.
