This Multi Conductor Cable includes the following stranded copper conductors: Three #3AWG - One #8AWG - Eight #18AWG

This is an all inclusive cable that includes all conductors necessary to connect your generator to the transfer switch. It includes 2 additional control conductors that can be used for a remote emergency stop. We recommend you measure the linear distance between the generator and transfer switch. The exact path the wire will be installed. Add 5' in length for connections within the generator and transfer switch.

The 2017 NEC, allows this wire to be installed without a conduit or flexible raceway unless subject to physical damage. Consult your authority having jurisdiction prior to installation.

moisture resistant, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation and jacketed w/ 6 mils (0.15 mm) nylon applied directly
to the surface of the insulation.
B: (8) - #18 AWG Class K stranded, soft drawn, bare copper conductors w/15 mils (0.38 mm) heat and moisture
resistant, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation and jacketed w/ 4 mils (0.10 mm) nylon applied directly to the
surface of the insulation.
C: (1) - #8 AWG Class C stranded, soft drawn, bare copper grounding conductor w/30 mils (0.76 mm) heat and
moisture resistant, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation and jacketed w/ 5 mils (0.13 mm) nylon applied directly
to the surface of the insulation
D: Mylar binder tape.
E: 80 mils (2.03 mm) of heat and moisture resistant, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket. A ripcord shall be placed
