Ziller Electric Shipping Policies
Parts/Accessories/Transfer Switches/Portable Generators (Not Palletized) -
All shipping fees that are listed on the site are for the lower 48 states only. We do not ship outside of the lower 48 contiguous states. Our shipping charges cover standard ground shipping only and if expedited shipping is needed, you must contact us for a shipping rate quote.
Ziller Electric does not cover extra shipping charges that may include but are not limited to: Ferry costs, remote locations, islands, inaccessible dirt roads or rural areas that the shipping company may not deliver to (or charges extra for), etc...
Ziller does not offer returns on any parts that have been opened or installed for any reason. These include but are not limited to: Control panels, circuit boards (PCB’s), sensors, stepper motors, voltage regulators (AVR’s) & starters. Special order items we do not offer returns on for any reason. These may include: Outer enclosure panels, specially made items, items ordered from the manufacturer and drop-shipped.
If you need to return an item, you MUST call us first to authorize the return. Items returned will be subject to a refund pending inspection, less the item’s original shipping costs (which may be included in the item’s original price when using ‘Free Shipping’). The customer will pay any shipping charges back to Ziller Electric. ALL items must be returned with their original packaging, manuals, accessories, etc. and in NEW, UNINSTALLED, UNUSED condition. We only accept returns for a period of 30 (thirty) days after the original shipment date.

Free shipping that is listed on the site is for the lower 48 states only. We do not ship outside of the lower 48 contiguous states. Our Free shipping covers standard freight (LTL) shipping only.
Ziller Electric does not cover extra shipping charges that may include but are not limited to: Ferry costs, remote locations, islands, inaccessible dirt roads or rural areas that the trucking company may not deliver to (or charges extra for), etc... We run shipping quotes at the time of the order and will contact you should any of these issues arise during the order. Should the delivery company charge extra for any reason once the delivery is on the way the charges will be the customer’s responsibility. [An example would be a delivery attempt that was made with no one present to sign and a re-delivery attempt must be made.]
The shipping includes liftgate delivery which will include lifting the generator down to the CURBSIDE. This delivery DOES NOT include moving the generator into place at the install site, moving to the garage, barn, up the driveway, etc…
If the unit arrives damaged YOU MUST NOTE THE DAMAGE ON THE DRIVER’S BILL OF LADING. If the damage is major, refuse the shipment, noting the damage and DO NOT SIGN THE BILL OF LADING! If the damage is not noted on the bill of lading, any damage will be solely your responsibility to repair at your own expense! Shipments leave our warehouse in perfect condition and YOU are responsible for inspecting your shipment to make sure that it is in the same perfect condition when it arrives.
