Hello every one,
My problem has started with the starter switch. I can get it started but I have to do several things to do so. My question is can the starter switch cause the fuel shut off solenoid not to open, or the spark plugs to lose spark? If I take the wire lose that is connected to the housing and remove the cylinder and spring from the fuel shut off solenoid then jump the poles on the starter and solenoid it will start right up. (But) I don't won't to do this, I just want to push the button. If the switch does not cause these symptoms what else could it be. Or can the pcb cause the switch not to work? It's a 2004 model 4582 15,000 watt guardian ultra source portable generator Last edited by lilchico : September 7th, 2008 at 09:01 PM. Reason: non response |

I think I may have a problem similar to yours. Did you ever get it resolved?
